Finding the Right Words

myersandbriggs:

Although caring, kindly and amenable the INFJ has a very strong set of values, which, if transgressed, can make them crusading, vocal and extremely stubborn. Their single-mindedness can be such a positive and energising trait, creating genuine breakthroughs and coming up with such creativity….

myersandbriggs:

INTJs prefer environments where they can immerse themselves in something complex, different and important. INTJs are not anti-people and if they choose to work at people issues, in the same way they work at their intellectual pursuits, they can be effective team players or managers but the sheer…

Hello! I'm an INFJ as well and I was wondering if this happens to other INFJs too. Whenever I read, I find it very easy to put myself in the main character's shoes. Once I actually had to put a book down and take deep breaths because something horrible was happening to the main character and I was close to breaking down and screaming. I was so overwhelmed with emotions. My friends tell me it's a bit strange. I just want to know that I'm not the only one who feels this way.

Hi! You’ve perfectly described what reading a book is like for me, and what I thought it was supposed to be like for everyone. Personally, I think it’s a bit strange that your friends think that’s strange.

However scared you are, Clara, the man you’re with right now, the man I hope you are with, believe me, he is more scared than anything you can imagine right now and he… he needs you.

LOST MY SHIT AT DEADPOOL

WASNT INTERESTED IN REBLOGGING TILL I SAW THE DEADPOOL ONE OMFG

When Kids Watch Doctor Who

My three-year-old actually watched the Series 8 premiere with us on Sunday, and yesterday he wanted to watch the Doctor again! I didn’t want to show him anything too scary, so we watched “Dinosaurs on a Spaceship” which of course prompted, “Is that the Doctor?” “No, hon, the one with the bowtie is the Doctor right now. A few different people have been the Doctor.” Didn’t think that one through.

Then we watched “The Fires of Pompeii” which was even more confusing since Peter Capaldi AND Karen Gillan are in it. “Is that the Doctor? The one without the tie [Peter Capaldi’s Character, Caecilius]?” “No, Wes, that’s not the Doctor. The one with the trench coat is the Doctor this time.” “Oh, that’s Amy!” “Gah, not right now. That’s just the same actress.” Really didn’t think that one through.

In the end he preferred Peter Capaldi’s Doctor (“I just like the one with just the one dinosaur, the T Rex!”), and I have to agree. I’m ready to move on with a new Doctor (only one way to go, forward.)
